02 Dec BVE 2014 will focus on content delivery and new platforms
Our client BVE (Broadcast Video Expo), the UK’s largest trade event showcasing the latest technology and trends for consumer consumption of content on any platform, last week announced that their 2014 show (25-27 February, ExCEL, London) will focus on content delivery, new platforms and will explain to content owners how to reach today’s audiences.
Following feedback from last years show, almost a fifth of the 15,000 visitors expressed a desire to understand the ‘connected world’ and as a result the BVE’s Connected Theatre and dedicated exhibition space will be bolstered. Headlining the conference will be Edward Humphrey, the British Film Institute’s Director of Digital, who will share insight on the recently launched BFI Player, the new VoD platform that allows the UK to access the BFI’s archive of British film.
The Connected Theatre will play host to a number of industry speakers who will share and assess consumer trends including, Ralph Rivera, Director of Future Media, BBC, and Jamie Hindhaugh, Chief Operating Officer, BT Sport, as well as models for successful delivery and monetisation of content in the digital, multiplatform age.
